Mind to Motion CIC was born out of a deeply personal experience. After losing my brother, who took his own life in early 2025, I knew something had to change.

His loss opened our eyes to how many men find it hard to speak about their mental health. We seen how easily they can feel isolated, disconnected, and unable to open up about their struggles.

My Story

Brian’s death opened my eyes to the urgent need for spaces, where men can talk openly about their mental health without shame or judgment.

As a wellbeing and fitness coach, I know first-hand, the power of physical activity in helping manage stress, building resilience, and fostering a sense of community.

I also understand how hard it can be to speak up, when you feel like you’re carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders.

That’s why we’ve combined boxing with open, informal discussions in this programme, by offering a chance to get fit and feel stronger, while also tackling the emotional challenges that many men face.

We deliver men’s wellbeing talks in workplaces, gyms, and local communities.

We also run wellbeing talks and programmes in schools, because it’s important to learn these skills early - and carry them confidently into adulthood.
